Glocks In 45 - So, without too much fanfare, I began researching my first firearm, the Springfield XD service model. But when I got to Gunstore, I realized there were a lot of options. I got my hands on an OD Gen 3 G21 and I fell in love with it, but I haven't bought it yet. Although my first gun (just the first signature of the three, the other two being the G17 and G22 gen 3), this old non-sf gen3 went home in black. Dry firing quickly confirmed that the tungsten grip made it my favorite, and at the time the Sig just wasn't good enough or cheap enough. After 2.5k, it remains my favorite gun, possibly my favorite firearm. For me, the ease of doing this and the design not being enlarged or scaled down on other models has always been and continues to be my preference for the Glock. The tungsten rod balances the light magazine load and makes my exercises smooth.

It doesn't get any better for me. The Glock 21 is the ultimate .45 in my opinion. Although slightly overbuilt (same range as the 10mm Glock 20), it's not a bad thing. The extra beef means you can fill the ammo all day long. Length is not an issue for concealed carry, and with the right holster system you can carry it all day without discomfort. Trust me. I have and it's not a big deal. The smaller you are in .45, the more the gun will bounce and the less accuracy and stability you will have in your hand. Larger, it becomes a concealed carry issue, at least for me. I plan to get another one with my next paycheck. And after 27 years of concealed carry, the .45 is still the best stopper and the Glock is the best gun system I can think of. This is an excellent investment in defensive transportation. Bought my second Glock 21. This gun is easier to carry than you might think. It weighs less than the 1911 and holds more ammunition. It can be easily hidden with the right cover. This is serious food for thought. The lower the gun, the higher the jump. This leads to control problems that can be solved with larger guns that reduce torque and contribute to accuracy. Glock 45 9mm With Threaded Barrel

After wearing the 21 every day for a few weeks, I realized that it's not as much of a problem as many say. At 28.26 ounces, it's about 11 ounces lighter than a full-size 1911 and about 8 ounces lighter than a Commander. Also carries more ammo. By getting him a belt clip and having a good belt, I've gotten to the point where I don't have to pull and pull and tie my pants all day. Although it's a big gun, it's well balanced and fills my hand nicely with the modular grip extension. And to repeat, it's a bit overbuilt (same frame as the 20 in 10mm), but not too bad considering it can chew up and spit out +p bullets with no problem.

So. If you consider the 21 as a concealed carry pistol, that's not too bad. Just get a good holster and belt. Hope this helps.

I've had my Glock 21 for 3 years and put 1300 rounds through it with no problems. Features a tungsten handle, machined slide stop handle, and a belt clip in the small of the back. I have a Colt 1911 and it's a good shooter, but the Glock is my favorite. It breaks much easier than a 1911. But you have to be careful with the camera. I pressed my finger on the trigger once while wearing the belt and if I was one in the chamber I would have blown my ass. I practice pulling it out and am confident in my ability to insert it quickly.

Worth every penny, never regret buying it, but since it's a Glock, what else can I say, I love people who spend 400 bucks more than a Glock knocks every time a Glock hits the high dollar. This 45 runs flawlessly and always does

You can easily hide it. I hide my loadout with a viridian laser and a +2 Pierce extension. KT me how and Dara make beautiful covers and also make stealth gear. Invisible hardware makes a great cover for pants.

I bought my Glock 21sf a year ago and have gone through it a lot. I love this gun and highly recommend it! This gun does not misfire or stop. This is my daily life right now.

Great gun with low recoil. Everything was chewed in the first session. After checking the safety, aim down to clear a few joints, pull the trigger, pull the side catch, and pull the slide out. The ignition pin is forward and the slide must be reattached. Countless Glock owners with the same problem. Must work with internal security mechanics. Just wish it was in the manual or someone told me. Nothing special. Great gun with accuracy and reliability.

I want to emphasize what a great gun this is. The slide assembly is a silent point. Some guns need a key, some have a switch, some have a handle. It has a thicker slide than other models, but the .45. The weight definitely absorbed the tire. It seems a bit heavier than the 19. The trigger pull is typical glock, but smooth with a good squeeze and reset. It was a lot of fun to shoot. Big bullets, big noise, but easy to hit the target. Again, great gun. You will be disappointed.

I own and carry my G21 gen 4 daily, never my fault, always been a sniper. If you are on the fence, buy it, you won't regret it. I like having the 13+1 and carry an extra magazine thinking it's better than nothing.
